Best priced unit available

Very satisfied with this one here. It came several days earlier then the delivery estimate. I love that. Super organized.This light is a perfect supplemental overhead LED panel. Im already using several other LED spot lights, along with some CFL's and after installing this all red 650nm panel using string and a board, (rather than the hanging kit provided or the instructions,) I could see that this was what was missing from my setup all along. Now I'm thinking I could use another one, since I have the space, and this one is SO cheap.Design is what you'd expect for the price; it actually felt a little fragile when I was setting it up, but the performance of the light more then makes up for that.I wouldn't suggest using this panel as a "stand alone" only because the light is very spread out, and it only emits 650nm red light and no blue or "warm white" spectrums that plants also require for photosynthesis. The intensity though is roughly equal to that of a 100w HPS which is fantastic.For only 14 watts and the benefit of the light panel running at a cool temp, while emitting the equivalent of a 100w HPS, makes this panel more then worth it. If you're an indoor grower (a real one) and you've got plants that are flowering or going to flower, then this panel at this price makes a great supplemental light for a small to medium sized grow room.This is seemingly one of the best purchases I have ever made on amazon. And of course, if anything good or bad happens with it, I'll update my review.Hopefully this review will be helpful to any indoor gardeners. LED is the way to go, and this same unit costs nearly twice as much from most other sellers.

The two LED indicators above the LCD show that battery is charging, and a red

Good idea not a good follow through

So I bought this and thought the idea was great considering I have other products from Goal Zero to include the Lumina light (similar product with USB plug in). the amount of light is nice. I used it on a trip reciently as a night light for the kids. It was bit bright so it did well.The Bad - I plugged this is to many items and the same thing happened, the unit got very hot. not to the level of burning my hand on contact but I would not be able to hold it for long after about 10 minutes. I called to ask if this was normal and was told it is an issues the engineers know about but it is not a priority to fix right now.My thoughts - light gets too hot to hold means two things. 1. it will drain my battery quickly (it did). 2. Anything it touches will most likly melt at some point or cause harm in some way.Would I buy again - NO. Wjhile it is a great idea the heat is a large issue for me. you decide but I would not buy until this is solved.

I like this Solar Charge controller. The documentation that comes with it, however is terrible. The functions described of the LED indicators do not match the actual functions. And there is a reset button that is not even mention.The controller itself seems to be operating as I would expect.

The user guide is worthless the unit is great. You must figure out how to operate the darn thing by yourself. Press and hold the test button until some light or lights come on on the left of the charger telling you the state of the batteries. Once running it will tell you if it is in the charge mode completely by showing the green lightening bolt. The unit works perfectly. If however you are trying to supply power besides charging the battery you will need a grid tie inverter along side.
