Within 3 months, this solar panel started showing cracks on the cells (not the glass, but inside), and some discoloration. To be fair, I've not taken the panel off of my array to test if it's generating less electricity, but I don't believe it will last much longer. I have bought 8 panels, total, different ones at different times, and this is the ONLY solar panel that has ever showed ANY wear at all._____________________________My original review is kept here: I've had the panel for just 2-3 weeks. So far, we have actually gotten a little better performance than what is rated in the specs. It has some easy to use connectors, if you want to add more panels to your solar system, especially more Epcom panels, it should be quite easy.

Easy to install a bit light in the frame and backing, won't take much heat butit looks nice and puts out within normal range..

The Epcom 85 Watt Polycrystalline Solar Panel is a great bargain from Amazon with no hassles! What can I say about the panel - it works. Pair it with a rechargeable Lead acid battery (or not) and the Fan-Tastic Vent 01100WH Endless Breeze 12V Fan and you have summer licked. The hotter (and sunnier) it gets the better the cooling power.
