I went thru three of these in two years. I didn't run it at anywhere near it's rated wattage. I use it to recharge my portable tool batteries. the 1st one lasted only 6 weeks, the 2nd. one lasted just over two months, the 3rd one died after just over 1 year. The heatsinks on the side are made of plastic. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that plastic doesn't dissipate heat, Plastic absorbs heat. That is why the first two had such a short life. the third one I removed the plastic heatsinks and made my own aluminum heatsinks and attached them to the sides on the inverter. overall, I wouldn't give 10 cents for these pieces of Chinese Junk!!!
