"A heavy-duty anodized aluminum frame provides strength and convenient mounting access. Cells are laminated between high transmissivity, low-iron, 3mm tempered glass and sheet tedlar-polyester-tedlar (TPT) material by two sheets of ethylene Vinyl acetate (EVA). This protects against moisture penetrating into the module. Mono-Crystalline cells are up to 20% efficient and is said to have a service life of about 25 years.Output Power (peak): 5W

Top quality. Strong and Durable.

I purchased two of these panels about a year ago. They really crank out the power. I have them both wired together into a 12 volt battery system. These panels work flawlessly and are rugged. They will probably still be outside producing power 25 years from now with no worries. These are small 5 watt solar panels that produce power like bigger panels. The mono-crystalline panels are better than the poly-crystalline, since the small mono-crystal panels produce more power than the larger poly-crystal. Example: I have two 20 watt solar panels that are the same size. The "mono" panel produces far more power than the "poly" panel but they are both supposed to be 20 watt solar panels. Therefore I would rather have smaller panels that produce more power than larger panels that produce less. So it appears that the black solar panels produce more power than the pretty blue panels.

Sturdy aluminum frame like larger solar panels makes this one easy to mount. This is a sturdy well made panel that will last decades. Don't be fooled by cheap badly framed alternatives, been there, done that!

Came in the mail well packed in perfect condition.Appears well made. I bought this panel to keep a putruck battery charged, however I have to wait for theweather to warm up to begin.
