Rosin flux is a chemical cleaning agent that facilitates soldering, and it's in a very user friendly pen format for easy application onto our solar cells's bus bars and tabbing wires. Always apply flux on the bus bars or wires first before soldering, and the bonding job will be easy. It works great with our solar cells.

The tip of the flux pen is dry when new. There is a seal inside the flux that you need to break before the flux liquid will moist the tip. To break the seal, point the flux pen upward, and depress the tip into the shaft of the pen. The tip will spring back to its original position. Wait for a few minutes then the tip will be moister and ready for use.
