Nothing impressive about it. Not as bright as the description implied. The first one was defective and the seller promptly offered to replace it but when I requested a refund they said I would have to go back to Amazon and return the item at my cost (jump thru hoops). I said if it's going to be that way just replace it. I took several days to get replacement. When I got it, charged it and turned it on it was just okay. I have other solar rechargeables that I got from Costco that are better and cost less. I would not have had to go the ordeal with Costco if I wanted a refund.

I purchased this flashlight to keep for emergencies and to use while camping. The light output is acceptable for the amount of LED's the flashlight contains. I rated it 3 stars because it doesn't seem very durable. It feels light in the hand and I'm concerned that it won't survive possible rough handling. I plan on using it for the coming camping season and I'll report back if there are problems.Update:Never made it to the camping season. I charged the light and my 8 year old daughter started using it to go from her bedroom to the bathroom at night. After about two weeks of this the light stopped working. Light won't come on so I tried leaving it in the sun to see if it would recharge with no luck. If it can't survive an 8 year old girls expeditions to the bathroom do you really think it would survive a season of camping or bouncing around in the glove box of a truck?

This is a really cool flash light. It was smaller than I thought it was going to be but still it works great. I really like the fact that I do not have to worry about batteries for this. This will be great for the car, camping and many other uses.
