The Controller had terrible instructions, it did not explain how to read the indicator lights, it did not have a diagram of a typical system showing where the inverter connects and the did not explain the wiringindicator color code of the wind generator terminals. It did not tell you what normalvoltages are for each terminal so that you can test it and know if there is a problem. My unit had radically changing DC voltages on the out terminals which would not power anything. With the wind generator and solar panel hooked up it would not charge my battery over 11.8 VDC. The company has NO TECH SUPPORT and no online help. I also had no ind until w weeks after the return period ended so I had no way of knowing the unit was defective. I hope Amazon takes care of this, I cannot control when God brings wind to test it, I need a free replacement. Next time I would buy another brand but only bought it because nothing told me the voltage specs (it is 12 VDC butbeh generator delivers AC to the controller which rectifies it to DC current, except the one I got) or what others would be compatible.

GudCraft has no clue as to what they're selling. It came in with a damaged slide switch and no operating manual. I repaired the switch, still didn't work. I contacted GudCraft about internal settings; they claimed there are none. I opened it and there are dip switches and an adjustment pot. I've been after GudCraft for weeks to get an operating manual so I know what I need to set the dips at. The 7.5 version is worse. There are no settings, and the most I can charge up to is 11.6 VDC. I have researched and found other controllers far superior for less money and the seller knows their product.
