I Installed this device on the top of a mountain (600mts) where I have a 2 amp radio device working since 3 years ago.My goal was helping my 10 amps of solar panels with 8 batteries (6 volts) bank to add a warning light in the nightfor the tower.Now, there's a lot of wind here !!! it starts working before the sunset and stops at noon everyday !!! it roars likea cat !!!! but, when I Installed a logging meter to measure the generated power, the avg is only 4 amps... I mean, it is advertised a top of 30 amps !!!! but the the top peak it has registered so far, is 15 amps.UPDATE Feb, 28 2013:After a few months of use, it got a better performance. Now my batteries are fully charged and the avg has increase a little. I still think that it should generate more amps, because of the strength of the wind here. The wind starts blowing strong at 5pm blowing the whole night until it stops at 9 or 10 am on the next day. It Recorded a top 19 amp.It should generate over 10 amps avg... but, It hasnt record it yet.

I love windmax turbines and I have a 1000 watt and 600 watt also!! They perform really well and I don't care about warrenty because I like to DIY. But hands down this turbine is a amp producer, and you can see it on you tube.
