Oh man this gives off some good light.... when they work. I ordered two and only one worked.I also could not just get a new one (exchange), I had to return it to Amazon, they give the $ refund. Then I would need to buy a new one...Prob just going to use another company and not use Amazon for this future purchase.

The backing board was not drilled out wide enough to allow the mounting screws to pass through the holes. I used a 7/64" bit to enlarge the holes. The mounting hardware was very cheaply made. I had to get out my tap and die set to clean out the threads, that is 3mm by 0.50 pitch. The mounting cables have broken strands that are quite painful when they puncture your skin. The power cord is only 4'6" long, if you want to do a ceiling mount you will need an extension cord to reach a baseboard outlet.The instructions were written by someone which English is a second language to:, The appropriate instal height is among 2.5 +- 1.5m, the lower of the height, the stronger of the light beaming, please adjust height according to the growth period of the plants;The rest of the instructions are equally mangled.That said once assembled and hung the unit did light up and the light seems strong and very blue. No idea how long this unit will last, but for an experiment the price is right.
