You don't really need this tool to assemble the MC4 connectors. Furthermore, is kind of a weak plastic- at quite a high price.2 stars (instead of 1) because at least you really know what you're getting by looking at the picture.

I recently purchased a 100W solar panel and connected my MC4 cables. One of the cables I was able to get apart easily but the other I tried everything (needle nose pliers, you name it) and no luck disconnecting the cable. I finally broke down and purchased these tools and they worked like a charm. I would highly recommend if you need to disconnect your MC4 solar cables.

I bought these tools because I needed to spend more to get free shipping. I was expecting that when I received the connectors I would need these plastic wrenches to assemble the MC4 Solar Panel Connectors. Not true, they serve no useful purpose at all assembling or disassembling the MC4 connectors! In addition they come with no instructions or illustrations giving examples of how these cheap plastic tools might have been usefull. And they certainly were not worth more then $1.00. The shipment did come with a nice coaster, the only thing useful in the package.
