New to Solar Power, so I may not know what I'm talking about but this solar panel does the job. It's well constructed and sturdy and should stand up to time. I use it charge 2 35 Amp Hour batteries and use the electricity generated to run 6 LED lights and 2 small fans, all 12 volt. Nice getting some free electricity!

Have had one of these for a almost a year now, been under snow, in rain, still works... no condensation on glass so must be air tight, still kicking out the power. kinda artsy looking too, the problem with making one yourself is getting the thing airtight, getting a frame... soldering, hooking up, almost not worth the problems. So if ease of installation is your concern this fits the bills

I bought this panel to charge a 35ah battery to run a 1000 watt inverter. The panel works well and does charge the battery, but make sure you are aware that it will take a while to charge a fully discharged battery to full (several days of bright sunshine). It does work extremely well as a trickle charger or to maintain a fully charged battery. Overall, I have no complaints and am satified with the panel.
