Welds were OK. Metal looked OK. Drilled holes OK. Cuts looked OK.The thing I didn't like was alignment of the "metal parts".The top hitch was not parallel with the bottom hitch. But close. You may not notice.One of the upright square tubing was not at a true 90 degree angle with the bottom hitch and quite noticeable.Other words.... workmanship was so so.

This was a rugged and very heavy duty item, but the top receiver was badly botched in the manufacturing process. The holes for the hitch pin did not align properly and therefore you could not insert a hitch pin through the holes when a bicycle rack was put in the receiver. I ended up returning it for a refund. Thanks to Amazon for making that such an easy process.
