This is a fabulous product! I love most of the products Goal Zero offers. I wish this light had a self solar charge capability, instead of having to hook it up to their panel. And although it has an easy crank shaft for charging, it still is a pain after a while. The light is definately bright up close, but it doesnt provide much distance lighting. It is incredibly durable! Ive dropped mine off the top of my truck and tailgate several times, still works every time. I am also impressed with how long the charge lasts for. If I remember correctly it advertises 3.5 hours? It easily makes it there. Also the front USB charge out port is so useful for those of who are addicted to mobile devices. All around a great product!

The Lighthouse Lantern came early than expected, just in timne for our camping trip. I made sure the lantern had an overnight charge.My wife and I love the "UFO", feature. A setting that allows the lantern to flash with red lights. The kids were thoroughly amused with this feature.A well made, not a cheap feel to the product. We love the fact it is a green alternative to the gas style lamps, especially with small kids.

We looked wide and far for emergency lighting before we selected this product. It has a bright light, long life, and the ability to charge using 110 volt outlet, car outlet, or hand crank. It can also charge your cell phone or other device with its USB port. You can stand it up or hang it up, either way. Excellent choice for camping or home use when your electricity goes out.
