First: I didn't get the item which had been shown on this page for a long time. And it wasn't until after I waisted a lot of expensive cellphone time to complain that they corrected the page. Though I couldn't get them to send me what I ordered. And calling Amazon was just a waist of time and money, I had been pleased with Amazon's service until now, and this was such a bad experience that I have to seriously reconsider doing any more business with them, I probably will because I don't have much alternative but I'll be trying to limit it to the minimum.Second: This solar panel is Cheap, Overpriced, Fragile, china JUNK. It's poorly constructed, it's glass covered, it's uses crystalline cells which are fragile and useless in cloudy conditions which is what we have here most of the winter, the junction box isn't even slightly water resistant, and it's very heavy. Also you can get non-slave labor solar panels now for $1 (one dollar) per watt but this piece of garbage costs $7 (seven dollars) per watt when this SLAVE LABOR JUNK shouldn't cost more than fifty cents per watt and even then I wouldn't (knowingly) buy it.

Installed this solar panel to power my mighty mule gate opener. Works really great, even through the winter (northern hemisphere Eastern US) regardless of cloudy days. Was a little concerned at the cheaper price but hasn't caused me any trouble. Past pictures published by Gudcraft had a poll that the solar panel mounted on...this doesn't come with it. The only thing included was the angle aluminum mounting piece that mounts to a surface of your choice and the panel. Not a big deal to me as I was just mounting to a fence. I haven't measured it but it looks about a 45 degree angle that it mounts it at. 10W has been perfectly fine to keep my battery charged for the 500 series dual mighty mule gate opener (note the fence it is opening only a 100 lb residential fence).Love the product.

Bought 2 to keep my marine batteries charged. Recently, these went under water in the lake with heavy wave action The connector box filled with sand and water, but once dried, they worked perfectly.Great product!
